|The final helicopter fly-out of the season at Lakes of the Clouds Hut, 10/31/14|
After a long summer of welcoming guests, offering trail advice, flipping flapjacks, and sweeping floors, AMC's hut croos have departed and the hut buildings have been buttoned up for the winter.
At the tail end of October, we wrapped up our final airlift at Lakes of the Clouds with snow on the ground and a chill in the air. The majority of the huts will remain boarded up until the spring, but you can still tramp out to Lonesome Lake, Zealand Falls, and Carter Notch
for some midwinter rejuvenation during self-service season
Enjoy these shots and we'll see you in the mountains!
